The Allendale Shopping Plaza is a one-story shopping center consisting of 19 tenant spaces ranging in size from approximately 1,000 square feet to 38,000 square feet.  There is also a freestanding building with drive thru of one tenant, TD Bank, of approximately 11,290 square feet.

The Allendale Shopping Plaza is presently undergoing a major renovation and expansion including a new parking lot, new light poles, new curbing and landscaping, new building façade and an expansion of approximately 4,741 square feet. Azarian of The Azarian Group, L.L.C. is pleased to announce his company recently received Planning Board approvals from the Borough of Sayreville for the renovation and expansion of the 70,000 square foot Raritan Center in Sayreville, New Jersey.  The Raritan Center is anchored by Walgreens (with a drive-thru) and Family Dollar Stores and has 9 additional stores. 

The approved plans include the addition of a new, 10,000 square foot building with 5,000 square foot outdoor playground to be occupied by The Learning Experience, which is a national day care facility with 66 locations.

The John M. Azarian Memorial Armenian Youth Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce that a scholarship grant was awarded to Arousiag Markarian for the 2009-2010 academic year.

The John M. Azarian Memorial Armenian Youth Scholarship Fund was formed in 1976 following the untimely death of John M. Azarian, Sr. by his wife, Barbara.  The purpose of the John M. Armenian Memorial Armenian Youth Scholarship Fund is to award scholarships to students of Armenian descent who demonstrate compelling financial need, academic achievement and Armenian church related activities.

Since its inception, the John M. Azarian Memorial Armenian Youth Scholarship Fund has awarded over $400,000 in grants to deserving students of Armenian descent. It is the goal of the Azarian Scholarship Fund to assist deserving students with the hope that they will one day return something beneficial to the Armenian community.

This year the John M. Azarian Memorial Armenian Youth Scholarship Fund received more than 80 qualified applications for scholarships.  Anyone interested in applying can download an application at www.azariangroug.com/scholarship.html.

John M. Azarian of The Azarian Group, L.L.C. is pleased to announce that his company recently received governmental approvals for the major renovation and expansion of The Allendale Shopping Plaza, Allendale, New Jersey.

The approvals include an entirely new layout and design of the parking lot including new stripping, curbing, islands, landscaping, access, pedestrian walkways, etc. In addition, the entire facade of the shopping center will be updated and renovated to match A&P’s newly renovated Fresh Store. Also, the shopping center on the north end adjacent to Village Pizza, will be expanded by approximately 5,000 square feet with new retail space.

Construction should begin on or about September 1, 2008 and will start with the parking lot and site work. The next phase will be the façade of the building and lastly the new stores. All work should be completed by Spring, 2009.
