St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkhill, New York (STAC) holds a special place in the heart of the Azarian family. Martin G. Azarian graduated from STAC in 2000. Barbara Azarian-McCullough was an Emeritus Member of the Board of Trustees for over 25 years. In 2000, Mrs. Azarian-McCullough donated funds to establish the Azarian McCullough Art Gallery (AMAG) on campus to showcase the artwork of students and local artists. The AMAG hosts seven exhibits during the academic year. Admission is always free and open to the public. Examples of media displayed have included painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography, fabric, electronics and multi-media installations.

John M. Azarian, Jr. was an active member of the Board of Trustees from 2010–2022 and served as the Chair of numerous Board committees. He has been an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business where he has taught classes in Marketing and Entrepreneurship since 2009.
